Booking Cancellation Policy:

At Home Of Homestays, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. We strive to be flexible and accommodating to our guests while also respecting the commitments of our hosts. To ensure a smooth and fair process for booking cancellations, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Timeline:
   • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled check-in date: Guests will receive a full refund, minus any applicable payment processing fees.
   • Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the scheduled check-in date: Guests will receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount, minus any applicable payment processing fees.
   • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled check-in date: No refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation Procedure:
   • To initiate a cancellation, guests must notify Home Of Homestays in writing via email or through our website’s messaging system. The cancellation will be considered effective from the date and time of receipt of the cancellation request.
3. No Show Policy:
   • In case of a “no show” (failure to check-in on the scheduled date without prior notice), no refund will be provided.
4. Host Cancellation:
   • In the rare event that a host needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, Home Of Homestays will work diligently to find a suitable alternative accommodation for the guest. If a replacement cannot be found, the guest will receive a full refund, including any applicable payment processing fees.
5. Force Majeure:
   • Home Of Homestays shall not be held liable for cancellations or changes to bookings resulting from force majeure events beyond our control. These events include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, acts of war, civil unrest, or any other unforeseen circumstances that make it impossible or unsafe to proceed with the booking.
6. Booking Modifications:
   • Guests may request modifications to their bookings, such as changes to the dates or duration of their stay, subject to availability and the discretion of the host. Modifications made more than 30 days before the scheduled check-in date may be accommodated without any additional charges. Modifications made within 30 days of the scheduled check-in date may be subject to additional fees.
7. Refund Processing:
   • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation date. The refunded amount will be returned to the original payment method used for the booking.

By making a reservation with Home Of Homestays, guests acknowledge and accept the terms of this cancellation policy. We recommend guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may lead to cancellations.
